This morning ice agents pulled over a vehicle and detained several workers. All three passengers were wearing hi-vis work shirts. We asked the community if you’re going to work do not wear hi-vis shirts, ice agent see that and immediately start racial profiling and assume he or she is Hispanic/Latino.
Esta mañana, agentes de ICE detuvieron un vehículo. Los tres pasajeros llevaban camisetas de trabajo alta visibilidad. Le pedimos a la comunidad que, si iban a trabajar, no usaran camisetas alta visibilidad. Los agentes de ICE, al ver esto, inmediatamente empezaron a discriminar por motivos raciales y asumieron que la persona era hispana o latina.
